Dark Caves [Educational + Adventure Trip]

Slept only for three hours or so and woke up at 6.30am…prepare and got ready by 7am. Went to Monash to assemble…
We were supposed to meet at 7.30am, and the bus should have left 7.45am SHARP…*this was in the email sent to us!*

Only after 7.30am, people start to gather and the bus did not come only after 9am! The bus broke down on its way here so we chilled in that bus and soon changed into another bus.

After about ten minutes, we were on our way to Dark Caves! ๐Ÿ˜€ I was on the bus sitting with Shane…My English is too bad that i cannot really understand his one! ==” But just a few certain words la..other than that, i enjoyed talking to him! ๐Ÿ˜€ AND most importantly, he apologised for saying I am ugly! ๐Ÿ˜› *i have proof man! :P*
Reached Dark Caves soon after….here is where all the fun begins! ๐Ÿ˜€
We climbed up about 204 steps of stairs..And rested there…this shows how long I have NOT exercised!==” I used to be able to do the jogging up around the bukit in Tasek Lama quite well. I guess its really been sometime!

Chilling out after those steps! Saw Monkeys even! ๐Ÿ˜€

Turn Left and there we are! DARK CAVES…Oh no! More steps to climb!!! ==”

luckily its just short ones ๐Ÿ˜€

We cannot bring our phones in ๐Ÿ˜ฆ So meaning i could not take any pictures! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ So i cam whored outside before placing the phones in for keep sake.

All our valuables are being kept in cheap plastic bags and then placed into lockers…
We were then given a short briefing and then we start on our fun! Included was an educational trip and an adventure trip! IF we were NOT going together with Malaysian Nature Society Monash (MNSM), we would have to pay RM30 for the educational trip and RM80 for the adventure trip! Since I am one of the MNSM members, I paid only RM45 inclusive of the two trips, round bus trips, food, three professional tour guides, seplunking gears AND good fun! ๐Ÿ˜€

This is how clean we are…BEFORE we entered the cave…

We got a helmet with head lights on each. *So many Bob the Builders!* The boots that i insist i change into before going into the cave..
Approximately four hours later…SEEING CIVILISATION AGAIN! Dark Cave is meant to be dark mah! ๐Ÿ˜›So..what actually happened inside the cave for more than four hours? We were actually split into two groups of twenty first. I was in Mr Yen’s group while other’s in Mr Jaya’s. There was another tour guide staying behind us to take care of those who plan to back out on the adventure trip and also to guide “lost sheeps” haha..

So for the educational trip, we learn about how the caves formed, the formations inside, etc… After about an hour, we met and sit in a big circle in the middle of the cave. We join as a group again and was given another briefing by Mr Yen on how to move in the cave for the adventure trip.
We should walk like human –> homo sapiens –> ape –> on our knees –> crawl –> going commando! ALL were used and mostly we do like human la!! But we also do lots of crawling and flat on belly, squiggle squiggle through those holes~~ *you can see how dirty we are*

AND we all were so dirrttyyyyy..you all understand what is guano??? We were basically covered with that! ITS BAT SHIT! hahasaw lots of cave roaches..similar to those found at home but there are those smaller ones and those bigger ones~~ talk about Fear Factor and you can know how much of them were there ==”

Walking all around barefooted..well, not exactly, i have my socks on man!Picture with Alvin..I had a good time with him in the cave! I simply LOVE him ๐Ÿ˜€ He is so funny when he talk in his “culturally mixed” Malay. Totally entertained by him during the waits in the cave.
We are a big group of 40 trying to squeeze into those cave holes. I was one of the early ones who brave themselves into the holes. ๐Ÿ˜€ its so much fun! If you just take the educational trip..you will knwo that Batu Caves is a whole load of shit! But when you did the adventure one, you will know what fun is! ๐Ÿ˜€

This is Abbas J. I wanted to call him J but he refused cause it rhymes with GAY! geez..haha
So amateur la…go and shoo shoo shoo~~ the pigeons haha :PPP
Met him outside the toilet before going in for my RM1 shower..He is Mr Yen, one of the three tour guides provided to us. ๐Ÿ˜€
After showering in a jail like cubicle, well, not that i know how it is like in a jail toilet but then it gave me a jail like feeling! *hehe*, then we went to have lunch…
See?! after showering, Yumni is still so yuckyyy la..got something on her tudung! ==” *smile Yumni :D*

When it started to drizzle again, everyone clear their things and get into the bus…
I mostly slept through the trip and so did Shane…and i reached hostel at about 4pm. FIRST thing…get a well scrub! AND also wash all my clothes..see how dirty the water is? those are “diluted” guanos..*yuckkk*
I washed them for two times k??? *oh THANKS Kevin for the towel and water! ๐Ÿ˜€ THANKS Yumni for the cheese crackers*

Overall, i paid RM45 to be in bat’s shit, got lots of scratches on both arms during the crawlings and squiggling, became very tired, body and arms ached and still enjoyed it!

THANK YOU MNSM!
